You might be wondering... Why Sacristy? Well the literal definition is a place to hold sacred things. While I don't hold games sacred in the religious sense, I believe every game, however good or bad, deserves a place to be "kept," as it were, in order that it does not fade from existence. Where better than a sacristy? And, more importantly, no one else was really using the word sacristy for a website. :)

Well, since I finally got tired of just ignoring the freeservers site, I decided that I'd up and edit the stupid thing through file manager, since I can't ftp in (one of the reasons for neglect). Anyway, I copied the below blurb from the index on the other end, and I'll be deleting most of the stuff here before too long. The new url is www.hylentor.com. Have fun.

Site gets moved, that's about it. I haven't abandoned it (not
by a longshot), but with my thesis work coupled with the fact that freeservers
(old host) disabled ftp access - I pretty much said "screw it" for awhile.
I'm still collecting info, and I'll try to start back up this summer, or
whenever I happen to finish my master's degree(s) up. The main issue
has been that I'd either have time to index games, or play them, and I'd
rather play, given the choice.

No real news here. As we all should know, I'm doing the grad school thing, so my free time is some variable thing each week, then we had the attacks on sept. 11 and such. I've not abandoned the site (heaven forbid), but I just haven't put as much work as I tried to fit in during august.
currently I'm taking my classes (of course), teaching 3 labs, and basically "running" the computer labs in that I have to make sure all the software is running each week and make sure all the images for the labs are accessible and such. fun, i know. Also, I've devoted a bit of time to the Shining Force III HQ which I took over from Masqurin along with Spiriel. We've had some bandwidth issues over there, so we had to move the site and get redirects and such up - I made it a web priority since we'd only get thru about half the month before freeservers would cut the site due to bandwidth. Now I have to update more links here (sigh).
as is usual, I'll let you all know if I make any HUGE updates, but for now, there'll just be smallish ones. - Hylentor
